In an effort to provide health and contribute to the green community, Webb County has provided a grant for a couple organizations to build community gardens. Today officials from Webb County, the Laredo Regional Food Bank and the Rio Grande International Study Ccenter, gathered to present the construction of the future gardens.

Students of the Laredo Community College visual arts department unveiled their latest projects today. The beautification project is titled, "yes we can"and features 19 55-gallon steel drums that have been painted by students.
